DK House Matsudo is a large guesthouse located in Matsudo city near the banks of the Edogawa River. Matsudo is close to both the metropolitan areas of Tokyo and various scenic spots around the city, therefore it is very convenient for both commuting to workplaces or schools and for sightseeing on weekends and holidays. For those who would like to learn something about daily life in Japan, Matsudo is an excellent place to encounter Japanese people from all walks of life. The Atmosphere at DK HOUSE Matsudo

Currently about half of our residents are Japanese and the other half come from around the world. A variety of people of different ages, nationalities and walks of life contribute to the heart-warming atmosphere of DK HOUSE Matsudo. Some residents have been with us for years and have created long-lasting friendships with other residents, but we also have seasonal waves of exchange students and other groups who bring some added excitement to the guest house during certain times of the year.

Our priority is making the life of residents convenient and comfortable, but with ample opportunities for intercultural interaction. Since our renewal, we have been successful in keeping the guest house spotless, thanks to the cooperation of our residents and the cleaning staff, Who come six days a week. We have various ammenities such as exercise machines, free PCs in the common area, Would you like to plant a vegetable garden? Do you need a special utensil or tool for the kitchen? We encourage the active use of all of our facilities and we are open to suggestions for improving the living environment of each of our residents. Easy access to the metropolitan area is another attractive point of DK Matsudo and you can walk to the nearest station in only 8 minutes. Or borrow a bicycle for a relaxing ride along the Edogawa river.
